LSC Greenway Run - April 20thThe upcoming edition of the Charlotte Running Club's Little Sugar Creek Greenway Run is scheduled for Saturday April 20th, starting at 7:00 am. Location: 2524 Tyvola Road, Charlotte, NC 28210For those who haven't participated in our monthly run before on this stunning greenway, it stretches southward from Tyvola Road to the Polk Historic Site, covering nearly 7 miles. Furthermore, the recent extension to Pineville Lake Park and beyond is now open, offering additional mileage options. There's no predefined distance for this run, as you can turn around at any point along the route. Check out our page on the CRC website with lots info about the Little Sugar Creek Greenway Run https://charlotterunningclub.org/Little-Sugar-Creek-Greenway-Run We'll gather at the parking lot situated off Tyvola Rd (address provided above) and commence the run shortly after 7:00 am. We recommend arriving early to secure a parking spot. There's ample additional parking available across Tyvola at the Queens University Sports Complex. Some participants may start their run a bit earlier, so don't hesitate to bring a headlamp if you want to get a head start. Throughout the greenway, there will be water stations, and there will be water at the start / finish location. At the 8-mile turnaround mark, Pineville Lake Park has restrooms and water fountains. While we would love to guarantee that all runners will find a pace group that suits them, please feel free to bring a running buddy along. The Charlotte Running Club will continue to host a monthly gathering at the Tyvola Rd access point to the Little Sugar Creek greenway, and we extend a warm invitation to EVERYONE, regardless of your level of experience or ability.
