If you are or know of a running resource in town that you have personally had a positive experience with, let us know at run.charlotte@gmail.com. Example local resources we are looking to know more about to publish here: Nutritionists, Physical Therapists, Orthopedics, Coaches, and Personal Trainers.
LOCAL SPECIALTY RUNNING STORES
Charlotte Running Club highly recommends you visit at least one if not all the local running stores at some point this year. Buy your shoes and running apparel locally and support these terrific business owners that are such an integral part of our running community. Without the specialty shops, virtually no races would exist in the area. Most of the free running clinics would disappear along with a majority of the running training and coaching programs. These folks really do know running well and can help get you professionally fit into the right shoes. Avoid internet shipping costs and get in person expert assistance. Visit each store's website and sign-up for their respective e-newsletter to learn when sales occur and to receive web coupons and member points. Each of the four stores in town has a slightly different focus so based on where you live and what your needs are, visit them and decide for youself which store you prefer.
Charlotte Running Club is proud to have club members who work and/or run for the racing team of each of the specialty stores in town.
