TrySports at Blakeney Shopping Center (Corner of Rea/Audrey Kell) has a standing Tuesday/Thursday group run at 6:15pm that typically attracts a dozen+. Contact TrySports for more information. They also have a 7pm Monday "Pub Run" of 4-6 miles. Drinks at Encore Cafe after for $1.50 domestic, $2.00 import beers and $5 burgers.

Local Gyms
Our uptown group typically runs in the AM. This usually means we all need to find a shower before we head off the work. Of course if you are a member of the YMCA, this is easy as the Dowd Y, Uptown Y, and Gateway Y are all very accessible: http://www.ymcacharlotte.org/
If you are not a YMCA member, Mecklenburg County Parks (your tax dollars at work) has several terrific rec centers right uptown. You can pay as you go or become a member at any of the county facilities. In particular:
